Mr. Carli brings to VOS Group 25 years experience in the design and implementation of communications and data infrastructure projects. From training in weapons and communication systems in the late 1970s Mr. Carli followed a carrier path encompassing most facets of the emerging communications industry via the distillation of defense technologies into civilian use.
Mr Carli also has extensive hands on experience of security systems and access control, as the convergence of security and communication required a strong communications network and wireless technology skill set to embrace the new security industry paradigm.
While in the employ of Skilled Communications Australia both before and after the Olympic Games Mr. Carli managed the implementation of Telstra’s Wide Band Optical Fibre deployment to support the advent of Wave Division Multiplexing and 45 Gigabit data transportation. Other projects for Skilled Communications involved the Point of Presence (PoP) rollout for PowerTel, design and deployment of Metropolitan Area Networks for Macrocom and the Sydney metropolitan area deployment of WorldCom’s Metropolitan Area Network. |
