Mark Griffin began his career in England as a Building Services engineer working with an engineering contracting company before joining the Property Services Agency in 1986. Within this governmental organisation Mark worked for the Museum and Art Galleries Group and the Courthouse Group. This was followed by a period in the Republic of South Africa with a large consulting engineering practice before returning to London as a senior engineer with a multi-disciplined consultancy group. In 1991 Mark joined VOS Partnership in Sydney working initially as a Senior Engineer before being appointed as an Associate. In 1999 with the formation of VOS Group Pty Limited Mark was appointed a Director.
Mark has been involved with the mechanical services design and documentation for a variety of project types ranging from aquatic and sport centres, hospital facilities, television broadcast studios, process control plants, large scale commercial office developments through to shopping centres and residential complexes. Mark is on the CIBSE ‘Your Building’ reviewer panel for the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council.
Sean Treweek – Director
Qualifications: B.E (Mech) Hons - University of Sydney

Sean commenced his career in Sydney with a large consulting practice and was heavily involved in existing building refurbishments and troubleshooting. In 1998 he was appointed Group Manager of an engineering discipline, during which time he was studying a Masters degree. This was followed by a period as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with another large consulting practice. In 2002 Sean joined VOS Group as a Project Team Leader and was appointed an Associate in 2003. In 2006 Sean joined the Board as a Director of VOS Group.
Sean’s expertise is focussed around providing tailored solutions to Client’s needs, which is enhanced by his extensive understanding of the interaction between the various building components and project stakeholders.
Sean has a particular interest in technological advancement within the industry and mission critical facilities and the implementation of ecologically sustainable design solutions.
Sean is the current NSW President of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH). Sean is accredited by the Green Building Council of Australia as a Green Star Professional.
Timothy Dunn – Engineer
Qualifications: B.Eng Mech. (Hons.) Dip Eng Prac – University of Technology, Sydney
Tim, a graduate mechanical engineer, began his career at VOS Group as an intern during his studies in late 2002. Whilst moving through the ranks at VOS Group and graduating from his studies, Tim has developed a sounds knowledge base of multi-disciplinary building services consulting. After working in the industry for some time, an interest in energy efficient and sustainable design solutions was developed. Tim has done further studies in sustainability assessment and building greenhouse emission rating/reduction to become a key member of the VOS Group Sustainability Team.
Tim strives to develop his expertise in mechanical building services and the multi-disciplinary area of sustainable design, to attain greater insight and stay at the forefront of the growing building services industry.
Arjun Adhikari – ESD Engineer
Qualifications: B.E (Mechanical), M.E. Studies (General), M.E. (Research) UTS.
Arjun is a Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience both in the university as a research engineer and recent 2 years in the air conditioning industry as an environmentally sustainable design (ESD) engineer. Arjun is involved in the design and development of low energy air conditioning methods (using polymer plate heat exchangers) as well as implementing some of these innovative methods of air conditioning in commercial, residential and industrial buildings.
Arjun’s keen interests are in the areas of; low energy air conditioning methods and systems, desiccant cooling, thermal simulation, sustainability, demand side management, energy recovery, heat transfer, heat exchangers, life cycle engineering, product design and development.
Arjun is a Member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Arjun is accredited by the Department of Environment and Climate Change as a NABERS Assesso
