Timothy Dunn
Mechanical / Sustainable design Engineer
B.Eng Mech (Hons.) Dip Eng Prac – University of Technology, Sydney, Accredited Assessor under NABERS(ABGR) and ABSA

Timothy Dunn is a mechanical engineer who began his career at VOS Group in late 2002. Tim has developed a sound knowledge base of multi-disciplinary building services consulting. In particular, Tim has a keen interest in energy efficient and sustainable design solutions. Tim is experienced in mechanical services design and development, building energy consumption modelling, thermal and climate analysis, day-lighting analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) studies and building greenhouse emission rating/reduction.

The current focus of Tim’s work is involved with computer modelling and simulation of building projects for thermal performance, energy consumption, fluid dynamics and day-lighting assessment. Through each project Tim utilises a hands on approach to realistic building modelling and simulation in order to reflect practical installations. By providing guidance to the various design teams involved on building projects, Tim ensures the achievement of targets in relation to thermal performance, energy consumption and/or greenhouse emission, day-lighting and ventilation. Tim has been involved with mechanical services design and documentation, energy efficiency modelling and sustainability assessment for a variety of high profile projects across all building sectors.

Arjun Adhikari
ESD Engineer
B.E (Mechanical), M.E. Studies (General), M.E. (Research) UTS.

Arjun is a Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience both in the university as a research engineer and recent 2 years in the air conditioning industry as an environmentally sustainable design (ESD) engineer. Arjun is involved in the design and development of low energy air conditioning methods (using polymer plate heat exchangers) as well as implementing some of these innovative methods of air conditioning in commercial, residential and industrial buildings.

Arjun’s keen interests are in the areas of; low energy air conditioning methods and systems, desiccant cooling, thermal simulation, sustainability, demand side management, energy recovery, heat transfer, heat exchangers, life cycle engineering, product design and development. Arjun is a Member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Arjun is accredited by the Department of Environment and Climate Change as a NABERS Assesso
