Sean McKeag
Manager – Middle East MEng (Sustainable Energy) RMIT; BTec; Grad. Cert of Tech, Dip Mech Engineering, CEng; MCIBSE, MASHRAE, MAPESMA
Sean commenced his career in the building services industry in 1989 working for a large engineering practice in Sydney. During this time he was involved in both the design and construction phases of a range of projects which included being the site engineer for major high rise residential development in the Sydney CBD. |
In 1997, Sean relocated to Brisbane to work on the redevelopment of the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Whilst working in Brisbane, Sean was also involved in a range of specialised projects including industrial, defence, pharmaceutical, commercial and retail building facilities.
In 2002 Sean moved to London to work as the site engineer for the new aircraft maintenance facility for Virgin Atlantic Airways at Heathrow Airport. He was also involved in redevelopment of the headquarters for the Guardian Newspaper.
Sean relocated to Melbourne in 2004 and joined VOS Group as senior mechanical engineer in 2006. In 2007 he was appointed as an Associate and was responsible for the co-managing the VOS Group Victorian office. In late 2007 Sean moved to Dubai to establish the VOS Group office.
Sean is a Chartered Engineer with a Master of Engineering degree in Sustainable Energy from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). He is also a Green Star accredited professional with the Green Building Council of Australia, a member of the Emirates Green Building Council in Dubai and a LEED accredited professional with the US Green Building Council.
