Solar Modelling and Shading Analysis
With the increasing emphasis on glazing in modern building design, VOS Group is able to assess the performance of glazing coupled with shading devices and provide advice based on energy efficiency, reduction in thermal loading and lighting alterations. Stereographic projection sun-path charts are used in conjunction with urban design software tools to design external shading devices and to assess the shading effect of neighbouring buildings and obstructions.
